Olde Norse Renaissance Fun in Angora

The impact of arrows hitting targets and the metallic clang of a blacksmith’s hammer shaping a new knife blade mix with the music of a wandering minstrel strolling the grounds of the Festival of Skalds in Angora Saturday.
The festival is a family-friendly, nonprofit event held over a weekend in July each year. Now in its 7th season, the Renaissance-style faire had an Olde Norse theme.
