Each August for the past 34 years, Chestnut Street in Virginia has showcased antique and classic cars and trucks, drawing car owners, hundreds of gearheads, and car lovers to the area. The gas-powered weekend is a two-day event that starts with a cruise night on Friday, then transitions into a huge display of the art, engineering, and history of the last 100 years or more of automotive history.

The 2026 version of the annual Fuzzy Dice Car Show, sponsored by Dream Machines Car Club, attracted 120 registered cars from across the region and state, as well as another 50 cars and trucks brought in for display by Dream Machines Car Club members.

The show, which started in 1992 with a couple dozen cars on one block of Chestnut Street, now fills downtown, stretching across multiple blocks. When asked what happens when the show grows even larger than it currently is. Bob Brown, a Dream Machines Board Member, joked that there are plenty of side streets in the area that they can take over.

Hundreds of car lovers strolled down Chestnut Street in Virginia on Saturday to check out the nearly 200 classic cars taking part in the 34th annual Fuzzy Dice Car Show.

The Dream Machines Motor Club is a driving force on the Iron Range for promoting the love for classic cars by hosting and promoting summer car shows and providing a place for local gearheads, classic restoration enthusiasts, and street rod owners to share their passion for preserving, driving, and showing off classic cars and trucks, muscle cars, and custom builds.

Organizers were thrilled with Saturday’s show, with both the number of cars entered and the near-perfect weather and huge turnout of visitors and community support. “It’s an absolutely great turnout,” according to Brown.

While Saturday’s show is the largest in the area, it’s not the only car show. Friday brings the popular Eveleth Elks Al Zupancich Memorial Corn Feed and Classic Car Show in downtown Eveleth.
