Halloween Week Kicks Off With a Parade
Costumed children huddled under umbrellas Saturday afternoon in Buhl as a steady rain fell, but while it likely reduced the crowds, it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm for the families that braved the elements to kick off the Halloween week.
While the annual parade in Buhl was the first public event of the Halloween season, it’s certainly not the last. Mountain Iron is hosting a Halloween carnival today at noon, followed by downtown trick-or-treating in Chisholm Thursday evening before the main event gets underway with several community trunk-or-treat events in Hibbing, Virginia, and Eveleth, among many others.
